Five elements are crucial in a creative strategy: purpose, ideal target audience, unique buyer proposition, documentation & evidence, and voice. Each of these elements works in concert to assure consistency and congruency of message. Remember, you are establishing a target to guide all your efforts. By establishing a clear message you'll hit the bulls eye with marketing arrows, even if your target is mobile.

People buy for their own reasons, not yours! Finding their reasons is the starting point for creating an effective creative strategy.

The scene is all too familiar. John Jones--ambitious, creative, hard driving---starts up his own small business and builds it up into a thriving concern. Along the way, he hires the best qualified people he can find to help run the business.

At some point, though, it starts to turn sour. The sparks of creativity and innovation that brought in customers and propelled the growth of the company slowly sputter out. The business stagnates. And John Jones wonders why.

Passion is the impetus behind every aspect of humankind, the good, the bad and the ugly. It is the driving force behind all artistic endeavors, as well as the driving force behind war. Passion leads to love, and leads to hate. Passion is the core of creation, and nothing of any significance, whether positive or negative, is ever accomplished without passion.
